Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the iOS app “FrameFlip” (the “App”) and related services (the “Service”). By using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Definitions

1. “User” means any person who installs or uses the App and the Service.

2. “Provider” means the developer/operator of the App.

3. “Service” means all features provided through the App, including (but not limited to) selecting images, alignment, video generation, saving/sharing, payments, and advertising.

4. “Pro” means an active auto-renewable subscription that unlocks paid features.

5. “Content” means photos, images, videos, and any data processed or generated by the App.

2. Acceptance and Changes

1. You must agree to these Terms to use the Service.

2. We may modify these Terms when necessary.

3. Updated Terms become effective when we provide notice by reasonable means.

4. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

3. Service Tiers (Free Use and Pro)

1. The App is provided as a single app, and some parts of the Service may be available free of charge.

2. The scope of free use (including export limits, ads, output quality, etc.) may be determined and updated by the Provider and will be communicated in the App or by other reasonable means.

3. If you subscribe to Pro, you may access paid features determined by the Provider (such as ad removal, relaxing/removing export limits, and higher-quality export).

4. The Service and the differences between free use and Pro may change for technical or operational reasons.

4. Subscription (Pro) Terms

1. Pro is an auto-renewable subscription offered via the App Store.

2. Subscription fees are billed to your Apple ID.

3. Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel before the renewal time.

4. You manage/cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID subscription settings; we cannot cancel on your behalf.

5. Trials, discounts, and promotions (if any) are governed by the App Store listing.

6. Refund eligibility and procedures are governed by Apple’s policies; we do not guarantee refunds.

7. Pro features may change due to technical or operational reasons.

5. Ads

1. We may display ads in the free experience.

2. Advertising identifiers may be used for ad delivery/optimization as described in the Privacy Policy.

3. While Pro typically reduces or removes ads, complete removal is not guaranteed in all circumstances (e.g., network/third-party delivery issues).

6. Content and Rights

1. You retain rights to your Content.

2. You may only use Content for which you have the necessary rights/permissions.

3. We process Content on your device to provide the Service.

4. You are responsible for resolving any disputes arising from infringement of third-party rights (copyright, portrait/privacy rights, etc.).

7. Prohibited Conduct

You must not:

1. Violate laws or public order/morals.

2. Infringe third-party rights or interests.

3. Modify, analyze, reverse engineer, or otherwise tamper with the App.

4. Disrupt or interfere with the Service.

5. Evade payments, misuse purchases, or falsify subscription status.

6. Engage in other conduct we reasonably deem inappropriate.

8. Disclaimer

1. The Service is provided “as is” without warranties, express or implied.

2. Results (e.g., alignment accuracy or output quality) may vary depending on device performance, OS, and content conditions.

3. We are not liable for issues caused by network failures, App Store/external service outages, or OS/spec changes.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability (except for willful misconduct or gross negligence) is limited to direct and ordinary damages, and capped at the total subscription fees you paid in the last 12 months (or $0 if you used only free features).

10. Changes, Suspension, Termination

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service without prior notice. Where subscriptions are involved, we will make reasonable efforts to minimize user impact.

11. Privacy

We handle information as described in our Privacy Policy. If there is a conflict, the Privacy Policy prevails.

12. Governing Law / Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The court having jurisdiction over the Provider’s location will be the exclusive venue for disputes, unless otherwise required by law.
